THERE WILL NOT BE A CAMP THIS YEAR, 2019.
SORRY FOR THE DELAY, PLEASE CHECK BACK NEXT YEAR FOR DATES !!
Camp Braveskin, formerly known as Camp Ganega, is a non-profit recreational camp uniquely created for children with various skin disorders. We welcome new campers each year.
The camp was estabished in 2003 for children and adolescents with chronic skin conditions as a joint effort of two pediatric dermatologists, Dr. Robin Carder and Dr. Fred Ghali.
The project has now grown and involvement includes many other local dermatologists, residents, nurses/medical assistants, and pharmaceutical representatives.
Our camp has equipped cabins for the children to sleep in, and a dining hall for meals. The camp has an excellent staff that plans and supervises various activities.
Where is Camp Braveskin?
Camp Braveskin takes place just outside Meridian, TX.
We use the facilities of Camp Jon Marc, which is located 85 miles southwest of Dallas. This is the site where both Childrens Medical Center of Dallas and Cook Childrens of Ft. Worth have utilized for various condition-specific camps.
When is Camp Braveskin?
Camp Braveskin is in the Spring each year, call for dates.
